If Square's decision wasn't cold, it was definitely unthinking. They traded the passion of PS4 owners for the game for the pa$$ion of Microsoft. The announcement for PS4 and these ridiculous comments shows they are backpedalling.
@thisgamer503
I think SFV is just as bad, but no where near as stupid. If Halo was multiplat and went PS4 exclusive, then THAT would be a similar situation. Still longstanding franchises should NEVER, EVER go exclusive, timed or o...
The same thing was true with Paula Dean. If it was a private conversation and I overheard it, it still doesn't make right. Being a leaked video doesn't make it better.
I wasn't at the meeting when my past employer's objections to my race when discussing my promotion. But someone at the meeting told me. Yet for you it is private and therefore is alright. Too much "hidden" racism in America exists for it to be excused because of privacy. The id...
Off the top of my head I think of a few rap songs that are against the use of the n word. The Coup's "I Ain't the N-" and PE's "I Don't Want to Be Called Yo N-".
The meaning of the n-word is complicated. It has been forced on an entire population for years. It eventually became embraced as an identity and cleaned up to something it originally was not. Something far less ugly, something to even be proud of. Just like the Confederate Flag.
My reasons:
1. New and exciting exclusive IPs
2. Competitively priced with PS4
3. DX12 enhancing performance
4. Confidence in Phil Spencer in maintaining these changes
5. Backward compatibility (only cause I don't have a 360)
6. And the best reason...I already own a PS4.
Like we were listening to them anyway.
A true exclusive like Scalebound is a reason to get a XB1, not Tomb Raider. As with a host of other games, Scalebound will likely be a better buy than TR rather if it is this holiday or the next holiday...
Few if any will buy an XB1 just for TR. Few PS4 owners will miss it. Just too many good games to play.
Vita is awesome, but it isn't my 10.5" Samsung tablet. With a stand YOU can play at the breakfast table, eat cereal and watch HGTV on Saturdays. I am going to use my got dayum television.
Whatever happened happened.
I'm worried about me, specifically how this bodes for the lifespan of multiplayer for this game. Let's hope few troublesome bugs exist.
I could care less about Konami. They don't have to make games...well unless it is casino games. Cool, I haven't been buyin them unless it is MGS.
I have no worries about Kojima obviously. He is on a level with Ninty's Sakurai. Hideo would be a hot commod...
WARNING:
Young Thor has nothing to do with the Odinson in comic books and the big screen. Still it was a fun game though.
G-Police...still have that and the sequel. Would be cool to have that again.
This game makes me want a 70 inch flatscreen. It is so beautiful!
My question is "why haven‘t they?" MS has inherited/created a diverse line-up, but they don‘t take advantage. Please, Phil! Change this!
But Xbox folk need to buy and evangelize these games too!
Tenchu was my favorite game on PS1. Would definitely buy an XB1 for that game.:-)
@animalia
MS has debated whether XBox was worth keeping. They most certainly can't do whatever they want while lighting cigars with rolled-up faces. They have a board to answer to, and they want as much money as possible.
Surprised someone has the Order in the Top 10. Good.
I think MS is targeting Europe more aggressively. North America, they are competitive despite being behind. Japan and PAL are a wash. Where else?
Kids keep your consoles.
I still play my PS3 and PS2. So I think this fuss over BC and PSNow is funny. But anyone can go to Disc Replay and get old games for most any system. And the console too if they don't have it. There are cheaper options other than PSNow. Surer ways than BC.
Gameplay could do it? But I think it won't get old. The variety in the planets will keep our interest too.
My choice too. I like the vibe from the art. Kind of like the Muppets/Sendak cute but scary thing but with zombies. Looks like a lot of work is being put on the writing and storyline too.
Dark humor. Is why I like Double Fine games. This reminds me of a Grim Fandango or Brutal Legends.
